The Lupus Leadership Awards are presented annually at the Purple Ball to recognize an individual, company or healthcare provider for outstanding support and commitment to improving the quality of life for people affected by lupus.
This year’s award recipient is Alfred Kim, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Assistant Professor of Pathology & Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine, and Co-Director, Lupus Clinic at Washington University.
Dr. Kim has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Lupus Foundation of America Heartland Chapter for four years and serves as the Board Secretary and Chair of the Programs and Services Committee.
The Lupus Foundation of America is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy.
